Speaking, workshops, panels, and hosting

Creator Economy Speaker and Workshop Facilitator

I speak about the decisions behind creator work, from the brief and product feedback to the story an audience sees.

My sessions draw from brand partnerships, creator education, consumer technology, my background as a software engineer, and personal writing about being queer and Filipino American in an immigrant family.

Formats

What I Can Do in the Room

Talks and workshops

Sessions can combine a clear point of view, examples from finished creator work, and practical discussion. At Camp Edits, I taught two live sessions about hooks, pacing, captions, retention, and emotional connection using my own editing process.

Panels and moderation

I can join a conversation as a working creator with experience in brand partnerships, creator tools, software engineering, and design systems. I can also moderate a focused discussion and keep the room moving toward useful answers.

Hosting

I bring an audience-facing creator voice to brand, community, and cultural events. The format can include live interviews, transitions between program segments, prepared remarks, and audience interaction.

Subjects

Creator Work, Product Decisions, and Brand Partnerships

Each subject is grounded in work I have made, taught, or written about publicly.

Creator briefs and creator scripts

What a brand needs to specify, where a creator needs room to write, and how both sides can reduce avoidable revisions.

Creator tools and product feedback

What working creators notice inside an editing workflow, how product teams can ask for useful feedback, and how a creator can teach the product without reciting a feature list.

Technology from both sides of the product

My work as a content creator and software engineer informs how I learn an interface, explain a workflow, and talk with product and creative teams.

Lived experience

Mental Health, Immigration, and LGBTQ+ Life

I speak from my own life and published writing. These sessions can be candid and funny without turning one queer Filipino American experience into a claim about everyone.

Mental health, therapy, and family

First-person conversations about anxiety, therapy, inherited family patterns, and learning to talk with immigrant parents about mental health without flattening anyone into a villain.

Filipino American and immigrant experience

Stories about language, family obligation, migration, belonging, and the gap between what immigrant parents survived and what their children learn to name.

LGBTQ+ identity, gender, and coming out

My experience as a queer, gender-fluid Filipino American includes pronouns, coming out, body image, faith, church, and finding language for parts of myself I once kept separate.

Camp Edits

I Taught Editing With a Comedy Series I Had Already Made

I used raw footage, an Edits timeline, and episodes of Better Than Everyone to explain how hooks, pacing, captions, and retention help an audience understand the joke.

The partnership included session development, two live presentations, product demonstrations, audience discussion, and a campaign Reel.
